Coaching of International College Students on SDGs

May 2018 – During the final year of their elementary school education, and in line with their mission statement “Inspiring learners of today to be global citizen leaders of tomorrow”, the learners at International College participate in a project known as the Exhibition whereby they connected this project this year to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Since Banque BEMO showed a high commitment through significant CSR initiatives undertaken in support of the Sustainable Development Goals pledged for, we have been approached by the United Nations Global Compact Network Lebanon (GCNL) to share our commitment to these goals as well as related experience, achievements and success stories by coaching the students of grade 5/CM2 at the International College and support their learning process on their projects evolving on “Climate Action” and “Life on Land”.

This collaboration took place at the IC whereby an onsite visit was organized by Banque BEMO's CSR Team in order to conduct a presentation to a large group of students and address their inquiries.

This collaboration further fosters Banque BEMO as a socially responsible business and helps moving towards a higher CSR maturity level.
