Award by the Ministry of Environment

Banque BEMO proudly took part in the “5th Award Ceremony for Institutions reporting their Greenhouse Gas Emissions” that was held at the Ministry of Environment, under the patronage of the Ministry of Environment and the United Nations Development Programme, and in the presence of H.E. Fady Jreissati, and the UNDP Country Director Mrs. Celine Moyroud.

This is a recognition of Banque BEMO efforts in computing and reporting its GHG emissions within the scope of the “Carbon Footprint Management” project completed in close collaboration with V4 Advisors.

This project is in line with the Sustainable Development Goal 13 “Climate Action pledged by Banque BEMO as a signatory of the United Nations Global Compact. 

This initiative is a key step on the path to a sustainable positive impact on climate change and further fosters Banque BEMO as a responsible business, committed to continue on monitoring its GHG emissions, as well to engage its stakeholders in setting adequate mitigation and reduction actions.
