8th Arab Reading Challenge

Congratulations to the young student Omar Al Chamouri, who won the title of Lebanon champion in the 8th Arab Reading Challenge, for the academic year 2023-2024.

The winner was announced during a ceremony held at UNESCO under the patronage of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education and the Ministry of Culture, to honor the winners of the qualifying rounds in the 8th Arab Reading Challenge in Lebanon.

The objective of this competition is to encourage exceptional talent, empower the young generation to acquire knowledge and inspire them to read Arabic books and strengthen their connection to the Arabic language. This year’s edition attracted a wide participation, with over 27,000 students competing from across Lebanon.
